Bringing Charleston's Food Lovers to the Same Table
Our Story
The Tasting Table started with two girls and a simple idea: We just really love food, and were always looking for new spots to try, especially the kind of places where you want to order the whole menu. But more than that, we were craving new friends. Dining out is just better when you're sharing food, stories, and laughs with people who get it.
What began as a casual meetup between a few food loving strangers has grown into something special. It has grown into a community of food loving Charlestonians who believe that good food tastes better together. We're all about exploring new dishes together, and we're so excited to keep welcoming fellow foodies to the table.
These are always free events, with a free signup. We will never ask you to pay for anything, except for your own food and drinks (and if the restaurant has a required deposit charge, but this is rare). In the future we may open up optional premier membership options, which will grant you access to truly unique dining experiences in collaborations with local restaurants and chefs, but for now we are just focused on building a community of food lovers.
